Vitsit to Inverewe Gardens
Description
The National Trust for Scotland garden is one of the best visitor attractions in the Highlands. Created by Osgood MacKenzie, former owner of Letterewe Estate, and his daughter, the lush botanical garden benefits from the influence of the Gulf Stream and is full of surprising and rare plants, with a staggering array of rhododendrons in spring and early summer.
Explore the museum in Inverewe House, and try to look out for an otter on the shore.
