Glass bottom boats from Gairloch
Description
Set out on Alice, the glass bottomed boat - a converted lifeboat - to study the rich sea life of Loch Gairloch. Spot starfish, urchins, fish, kelp and seaweed, with seals and seabirds above the waterline. The boat is covered and has 12 viewing ports. Ric and Jill Holmes had the idea of converting the vessel in 2006 and have been running successful trips in Alice (through the looking glass) ever since.
